Buddy List
Play Poker With Your Friends
Playing poker is all about playing against other people. And meeting people through our poker community means that you'll hopefully make a few friends. To keep track of your buddies when they're in the poker room, make sure that you use our rather nifty buddy list feature.
Easy to use and even simpler to master, buddy lists show you when your friends are online and where you can find them. You can add people to your buddy list in two ways. One, type your buddies screen name into the box and click Add. Alternatively, right click on a player's avatar when they're sitting at a table and select "Add <> to buddy list". Voila. While that seems straightforward enough, and believe us it is, here are a couple of buddy-list pieces of info that you may, or may not, want to know.
Privacy and being seen
It's up to you to decide whether other players can see you when you're logged in. Turn the privacy option on, and only players on your buddy list will be able to see that you're in the poker room. If you turn the privacy feature off, everyone can see whether you're logged in or not. If you fancy playing with your privacy settings, use the options menu at the top of the buddy list window.
Finding a buddy
If one of your buddies is online and you'd like to find out where they are, simply right-click their name on the list. It will now either take you to the table that they're playing at or the relevant tournament registration page if they're playing in a tournament.
Removing a player from your buddy list
It's a sad fact of life, but even the best of friends can fall out from time to time. If you've had a tiff and you want to drop someone from your buddy list, simply open the buddy list window and right click on the buddy you want to bin and select the remove option. That'll teach them.
